Carlos Eduardo Carvalho Lima, dentist since 1964 with practise in his Clinic in Ipanema, in Rio de Janeiro, was born in São Paulo in 1941. His passion for the sea led him, in 1982, to follow courses in diving (SSI platinun diver, more than 1,000 dives) and photography, winning, among others, New York Institute of Photography's 1st prize in 2001. With more than 50 trips abroad and more than 3,000 dives, he has published his work in the world's most important magazines.
